Meet Ronya!

She’s the face and fearless leader of WeadCo Insurance. Hailing from Kerrville, Texas, Ronya's roots lie in a fourth-generation ranching family, instilling in her a strong work ethic and a drive for success. Ronya attended Texas A&M University where she met her husband, Chris (at the Dixie Chicken to be exact!). From their family retail store, custom limestone business, to their pool servicing business, the two are no strangers to the world of entrepreneurship.

During her 9 years with Texas Farm Bureau Insurance, Ronya saw an opportunity for expanded coverage options to better suit her clients. The dream of having her own independent insurance agency came to life in June of 2021. Having contacts and close friends in the industry, Ronya worked with Texas Agency Alliance, who assisted in getting WeadCo recognized with some of the nation's largest insurance carriers. Within a few short weeks of opening shop, Ronya sold her first policy from the floor of an empty office.

While her family has dedicated much of their time over the past two and a half years to WeadCo, Ronya still prioritizes time away from the office. Whether it be fishing on the coast, watching college football, or traveling the country, her family is always by her side.

Ronya’s dreams for WeadCo are only growing! Despite industry challenges, she continues the expansion across Texas, New Mexico and Arizona while keeping her focus on education and empowering client’s decision making. Beyond agency growth, Ronya continues to dedicate herself to the incredible team she has built, spurring them towards success and continually providing the tools needed for them to be at the top of the industry.
