Meet Edward!

Edward’s journey in the insurance industry is one of resilience, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to growth. Based in the Philippines, Edward started his insurance career in 2019, stepping into the industry with no formal degree—just a drive to learn and a determination to prove himself. Competing against more than 20 applicants for his first customer service role, he took a chance, eager to see where the path would lead.

That risk paid off. Within two years, he became a trainer, quickly moving up to Quality Assurance and Assistant Team Leader, and by his third year, he was leading a team. But for Edward, success isn’t just about titles—it’s about making an impact. He found his passion in guiding clients through complex processes, ensuring they feel informed and empowered when making insurance decisions.

When Edward discovered WeadCo, it wasn’t just the opportunity that drew him in—it was the culture. As a husband and father of two, he deeply values the family-first mindset that WeadCo embodies. Transitioning from the corporate world to full-time remote work has given him the best of both worlds—the ability to be present for his family while continuing to build his career.

His approach to working with clients is simple: treat them how he’d want to be treated. He thrives on problem-solving, navigating challenges with precision and patience. Whether it’s breaking down an insurance process or helping a client find the right coverage, Edward ensures every interaction is handled with care and expertise.

Outside of work, Edward is all about family. He loves taking his eldest to school, spending time with his wife and little one, and playing basketball when he gets the chance. He and his family are dedicated to their faith, making church a weekend tradition. And if you ever wonder how he balances it all? Well—he either sleeps a lot or somehow stays awake for days. There’s no in-between!
