Ronya Weadock

She’s the face and fearless leader of WeadCo Insurance. Hailing from Kerrville, Texas, Ronya’s roots lie in a fourth-generation ranching family, instilling in her a strong work ethic and a drive for success. Ronya attended Texas A&M University, where she met her husband, Chris (at the Dixie Chicken, to be exact!). From their family retail store, custom limestone business, to their pool servicing business, the two are no strangers to the world of entrepreneurship.

After nine years as a captive insurance agent, Ronya recognized a growing need for broader coverage options and more customized solutions for the families, farmers, ranchers, and business owners she served. Driven by a desire to put clients first and provide access to the best coverage available, she founded WeadCo Insurance in April of 2021.

Drawing on strong industry relationships and a trusted network of partners, Ronya worked alongside Texas Agency Alliance to establish carrier partnerships with some of the nation’s most respected insurance companies. What began with a single policy written from the floor of an empty office has grown into one of Texas’ most recognized farm and ranch insurance agencies.

With more than 15 years now in the insurance industry, Ronya has led WeadCo through extraordinary growth while staying true to the values that define the agency today: being growth minded, serving as problem solvers, remaining plain ol’ good folks, acting as good stewards, and always putting family first. Today, WeadCo proudly serves clients across Texas and New Mexico and has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor to the agricultural community. Over 90% of the agency’s business comes through client referrals, a testament to the relationships, trust, and service Ronya and her team provide every day.

Recognized as a leader in the farm and ranch insurance space, Ronya serves on both state and national farm and ranch insurance committees. In many of these leadership roles, she is the only woman at the table and the sole representative from Texas, helping shape conversations and advocate for the needs of agricultural families and businesses across the country. She considers these opportunities a tremendous blessing and remains grateful for the growth, relationships, and impact WeadCo has been fortunate to achieve.
