Elise Turkett

Elise was born and raised in the heart of San Angelo, Texas, and her local roots run deep. After completing her education at Angelo State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing, she decided to remain close to home, building a life and career in the surrounding community. Now living on their ranch outside of Ballinger, Texas, Elise and her husband, Hayden, share life with their loyal mini Australian Shepherds, Duke and Hondo, who never fail to keep her on her toes.

Elise’s journey with WeadCo Insurance began in April of 2022, when she joined as an agency intern. Her passion for helping others quickly became evident, and after successfully passing her insurance exam, she transitioned into a full-time role where her dedication and expertise shine daily. Elise is WeadCo’s go-to resource for market access and carrier appetite, serving as the team’s trusted advisor on where to best place coverage. Her in-depth product knowledge and problem-solving mindset make her an invaluable asset to both her teammates and clients.

Outside of work, Elise enjoys life on the ranch, checking cattle, cracking open a cold beer on the buggy, cooking on the grill, and exploring the rugged beauty of West Texas.

As Elise continues to grow in her role, her influence within the agency only deepens. Overseeing nearly every WeadCo account, she is the backbone of our support staff—ensuring operations run smoothly, coverage is placed accurately, and clients receive the exceptional service WeadCo is known for. Elise’s professionalism, initiative, and unwavering commitment to excellence reflect her heart for both her team and her community.
